* C#* SQL* Office basedSystem Development EngineerHytheUp to £45k DOE Due to continued growth, we are looking to expand the IT team with further Development resource, to deliver on the companys objectives and development projects.Our in-house IT systems are crucial to the companys operation and success, and the successful candidate will have the ability to build upon these and deliver solutions that will have a substantial impact on the daily running of the business.We are seeking a software developer, who can transform business requirements / user-stories into user-friendly, well documented solutions, to benefit both the user and the business objectives.Primarily focused on developing all aspects of the current in-house systems, the successful candidate would be able to utilise Visual Studio, with MS SQL Server as the main data source, to develop new and enhance our existing solutions. Existing solutions aredeveloped using combinations of .Net C# (predominantly ASP & WinForms), EF, TSQL.Being part of a small business IT team, all IT functions are within the remit, including server and network administration, M365, client devices, user support & training, whilst continual developing the companys assets and infrastructure, so there will beoccasional out of hours planned works.As with all small businesses, the successful candidate would form a key part of the company and will be expected to aid and assist other departments to further aid their understanding of the business whilst supporting improvements.As a manufacturing company, knowledge and experience of ERP systems and associated processes would be advantageous, but not essential.Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to clearly communicate to non-technical colleagues at all levels within the business is key.Strong attention to detail, with good organisational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and successfully deliver to agreed timescales is a must.The successful candidate would attend Daily Stand-Ups and planning meetings so can directly contribute to the direction and success of the company - quickly becoming an integral part of the Team.Competitive starting salary, based on skills, qualifications & relevant experience. 39 hours/week - including a 1pm finish on Fridays.
