Are you an experiened Senior Support Worker looking for a new opportunity within Social Care Bradwell House is a residential service for adults aged 24-60 with learning disabilities, epilepsy, autism, visual impairments, and behavioural and emotional difficulties.The service aims to support individuals to realise their potential through trying new things, developing new skills and finding out their personal likes and preferences. Bradwell House is a large, two-storey 10 bedroom house (4 bedrooms downstairs and 6 upstairs)in a residential setting in Saltwood. All bedrooms have their own ensuite with either a bath or shower.The house has 3 gardens, with a patio, fruit and vegetable area, and large front garden with swings and trampoline. There is also a newly revamped sensory garden with sensory wall. In addition, there are communal areas for people to socialise in, includinga living room, dining room and kitchen.Job Title: Senior Support WorkerLocation:Bradwell House, Hythe, Kent, CT21 4AQHours: 37.5 hours per week Salary: £10 per hour Information: This role is shift work.Achieve together is one of the UKs leading providers of support for people with learning disabilities, autism and associated complex needs.You will be working as part of a friendly team, supporting vulnerable adults with a range of learning disabilities, epilepsy, autism, visual impairments, and behavioural and emotional difficulties. As a Senior Support Worker you will be expected to leadshifts and assist with coaching and inducting of new staff to the service. You will also be required to participate in the on call rota. You will write daily reports on activities, as well as devising and updating care plans and undertaking risk assessmentsfor the people we support. You will play a vital part in providing the people we support with care and be able to profoundly improve their quality of life, assisting people who are unable to live independently by offering them the practical help they need,as well as emotional support.This may include:
