Its what delivering great healthcare should feel like.Working 37.5 hours a week on a 9-month contract, you will provide maternity cover at Victoria Gardens in Huyton, a specialist locked rehabilitation for people with complex mental health needs and behaviours that challenge, as well as a ward for older females.You will support the service to equip service users with the skills required for community living and increased independence.As a Lead Occupational Therapist, you will support the delivery of occupational therapy service, using evidence-based and people-focused principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate specialist clinical interventions. This will see you provide serviceusers with the confidence, skills and coping strategies required for independent living.You will manage and coordinate the implementation of individual treatment plans, which will see you design and deliver treatments, activities and interventions.With experience from the NHS or private sector, you will plan and review occupational therapy treatment programmes with the CPA framework to identify evidence-based changes for the individual needs.As a senior member of the team, you will support the induction process for new members of the occupational therapy departments and will facilitate staff development through regular contribution to in-house training and supervision.Youll be responsible for overseeing and responding promptly to referrals, undertaking patient assessments to identify and prioritise service users needs before planning and delivering the appropriate and relevant interventions either on an individual orgroup basis.With a strong emphasis on teamwork, youll receive support from a regional network of healthcare professionals and enjoy access to a variety of online and CPD training courses to support you reach your career goals.This role involves:
