Job Description

Are you a talented Software Engineer with a passion for cutting-edge technology and mentoring other team membersThe client, a flourishing ISP on an upward trajectory, is actively seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer to play a crucial role in creating and maintaining internally developed and third-party software systems, integrations, and supportingdocumentation. Youll act as a mentor to other team members, fostering their learning and growth. Additionally, youll contribute to the initial feasibility assessments of new projects, visioning & scoping, and the operational support of solutions developed.Essential Qualifications, Skills, Competencies, and Experience:

  • At least 3 years of programming experience with languages and frameworks such as JavaScript/Python.
  • Solid understanding of how web apps work, from user experience to databases/APIs.
  • Confidence when working with databases, SQL, or noSQL.
  • Attention to detail, with the ability to use creative thinking to solve complex technical issues.
  • A need to learn new technologies and a commitment to constant growth.
  • A degree or equivalent in a computer-related subject.
  • Experience working in a continuous deployment environment (ideally Agile/Scrum).
  • A genuine passion for technology, bringing new ideas to the table on how we can improve our tech stack, processes, and delivery.
Desirable Qualifications, Skills, Competencies, and Experience:
  • Experience coaching and mentoring individuals on a team.
  • Experience conducting thorough code reviews for peers.
  • Exposure to the full product lifecycle (from conception to design, implementation, testing, deployment via CI/CD pipelines, and in-life support).
  • Experience working closely with internal and external stakeholders to help scope out new projects.
