Atrium Recruitment are currently supporting a Residential Care Home who are seeking Senior Care Assistant based in the outskirts of Hull. We are seeking individuals with a passion for working with people and those that have experience in the care sector.Your role will also include working with:· Dementia/Alzheimer’s· Challenging Behaviours· Elderly SupportDuties:· Helping residents with personal support and care.· Administration and monitoring of medications to residents.· Maintaining care plans.· Support in training and supervision of junior and new staff members in all aspects of their work in the care centre, under the supervision of senior staff members.· Assist service users in all aspects of their care needs (e.g. physical, emotional and spiritual).· Provide attention when needed whilst ensuring service users retain their comfort and dignity.· Carry out regular checks on service users at intervals determined by senior staff members.Experience/ Qualifications:· Care Certificate or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care.· Medication trained.· Experienced in supporting residents with Dementia.· Diving license and access to your own car.· Right to work in the UK.· Previous experience of 1 year min. with any of the above mentioned areas of care.Benefits:· Permanent contract.· Training and progression opportunities.· Company benefits and pension.For more information, please get in touch with Vicky on / .Atrium is an equal opportunity employer, and all hiring decisions are subject to international and local employment laws and regulations.
