Job Description

Senior IT Support EngineerHull (East Ridings) Hybrid remote 2 days onsite and 3 days remoteUp to £45k + benefitsA leading Manufacturing client based in Hull are looking to bring onboard a Senior IT Support Engineer to support a number of existing and new projects. The successful candidate will be tasked with the ongoing support of the IT Systems based in the U.K andoverseas, participate in ongoing projects which including an IT Security refresh and will be the primary point of contact with regards to any IT Support escalations within the group.In your first few weeks in this Senior Support Engineer role, you can expect to:

  • Be a mentor and escalation point for technical questions/solutions for other IT Technical Support staff.
  • Monitor, update and escalate calls to ensure service levels are achieved.
  • Ensure all IT activities, including relocating IS, telephone and office equipment as requested by key personnel during business hours.
  • Discuss, plan and implement improvements in systems and services.
To apply for this Senior Support Engineer role, you will need expertise with the following:
  • Microsoft Azure, O365, SharePoint and OneDrive.
  • Microsoft scripting technologies, including PowerShell, VBA, and VBScript
  • Advanced Windows Server experience
  • Have a working understanding of Terminal Services and/or a Citrix environment.
  • Managing and maintaining Active Directory
