Job Description

Your compassionate approach and commitment to personalized learning will create an inclusive classroom environment,paving the way for students to thrive academically and emotionally.” About the Role:GSL Education are currently seeking to appoint enthusiasticSEN Teaching Assistant to undertake a position at one of our client schools in Hull. We are looking for someone with a passion for supporting diverse learners and have expertise working with students who have Special Educational Needs.SEN Teaching Assistant Role:

  • Providing personalized assistance to students with diverse Special Educational Needs (SEN) to help them reach their maximum potential.
  • Collaborating in the creation and execution of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to cater to each students unique requirements.
  • Cooperating with teachers and fellow SEN Teaching Assistants to foster an inclusive atmosphere conducive to learning.
  • Utilizing various methods to encourage positive behavior and active participation in learning activities.
  • Extending emotional and social support to improve student welfare and overall well-being.
The successful candidate will:
  • Experience in a school setting or a UK degree equivalent relevant to education or SEN support.
  • A patient, caring, and adaptive approach to dealing with students needs.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development in SEN practices and strategies.
  • SEN Teaching Assistantcandidates must be proactive and resourceful in creating learning opportunities.
