Job Description

MYNT Recruitment are pleased to be working in partnership with a local Hull company to recruit a recruit a PERMANENT Sales Advisor and Market Administrator.Our customer is an independent, family-run business based in Hull. They have enjoyed success for several decades and they are now one of the leading suppliers of products in their industry.Due to continued growth they are looking for an experienced Sales Advisor and Market Administrator.The hours of work are days, starting at 7:30am and leaving at 4:30pm.Other company benefits include:

If you have a background within an Accounts function or Customer Service team within a business environment then please apply and get in touch.This role will involve working closely and liaising with their internal departments. They are very much a team focused company and everyone helps each other. We are looking for someone who is an excellent communicator, must be a team player, passionate,engaging and who has a very good eye for detail and accuracy.Other duties and required experiences;
  • The use of Microsoft packages including manipulating data in EXCEL
  • As the Market Administrator you will responsible for order entry, sales order processing, online ordering and expediting
  • Having a background with Furniture and Stationary buying would be advantageous
  • Experienced within brands such as 5 Star and Value X would be advantageous
  • Strong Organisational Skills
  • Tracking orders and expediting as and when required to do so
  • Placing purchase orders
  • On occasions you may be involved with negotiation and pricing meetings alongside the Directors
  • Working on web orders as well as orders placed via email or via the telephone
  • Counting inventory
  • Liaising with suppliers arranging returns, dealing with damaged products
  • Excellent communication skills both in person, on the phone and in writing
This role would suit someone who has strong desire to working within a customer facing role involving purchasing and ecommerce functions, organisational skills, who likes speaking to suppliers and customers alike. Someone who likes to have variety in theirday to day working life. This person would become an integral part of this amazing family business.
