Job Description

When they reach out to engage with us, we are there to listen.Due to growth we are recruiting a Recruitment Administrator to join our expanding team based in Hull, however at the moment you would work in a blended situation both at home and in our office. This will help our clients continue to deliver vital services to our customers. To ensure we hire the correct person we need to ensure you have the correct attributes and resilience for this role and can adapt to all aspects of our customer’s needs. The Recruitment Administrator is responsible for all administration and support functions to the recruitment team nationally across the UKDS Group.Who are weWescot was incorporated in Scotland in 1983, but following expansion now operates in Bolton, Glasgow, Hull, Malton, Saltcoats and Telford.Wescot are not your typical contact centre, we offer our customers a range of financial services across our various sites.   • Pre-employment screening checks for new starters in advance of their start date in line with our service level agreements
  • Liaising with IT, facilities and L&D functions to coordinate the onboarding process
  • Maintaining the people system as required including starters, leavers and contract changes for employees
  • Maintaining internal stakeholder relationships to ensure hiring managers are updated on all aspects of administration for recruitment
  • Dealing with queries as and when required ensuring excellent candidate experience
  • Providing proactive support to the recruitment team and their internal customers
  • Keeping the recruitment inbox up to date
  • Supporting with telephone interviews and associated administrative tasks
  • Becoming a superuser on internal assessment software and other systems
  • Assisting with advertising of vacancies and any other ad-hoc marketing support for recruitment including attending careers fairs and networking events
  • Acting as a brand ambassador for Wescot always
  • What you need to have:
  • Proven experience in an administrator role
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Customer focused approach
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Evidence of working to tight deadlines and delivering results under pressure
  • Fully competent with Microsoft Office, especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Integrity, flexibility and a ‘can do’ attitude are essential.
