Our client are looking for a Quality Engineer to join the business to support the evolution off quality operations within production. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for auditing production processes, monitoring, inspecting, and proposing new ways or processes to improve the companys operations in order to meet established quality standards.This is a business that strive for manufacturing excellence and is well suited to passionate quality professionals looking to engage in this kind of culture.As Quality Engineer, key responsibilities will include:* Auditing production Processes* Performing Finished Goods Audits* Engaging with NPI functions to establish best rout to introduce changes to manufacturing * Preparing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures.* Identifying, engaging with and resolving workflow and production issues.* Working in Cross functional teams supporting NPI processes and 8D investigations to identify root causes* Creation of training materials and operating manuals in line with new processes / procedures* Participating & contributing in PFMEA workshops* Creating Quality Control PlansThe Quality Engineer will ideally have: * Experience in a similar role.* Familiarity with lean tools, 6 Sigma or Automotive improvement techniques* Strong and demonstrable team-working across departments* Strong ISO systems knowledge* Demonstrable background within manufacturing businesses with ongoing NPI considerations.* Experienced in supporting the delivery of continuous improvement initiatives.* A can-do approach, with the ability to work on their own initiative.This is an excellent opportunity within a progressive company offering rare opportunities to make a meaningful impact to a company with unrivalled progression opportunities in the long term.Consortium Professional Recruitment Ltd are a professional level recruitment consultancy specialising in the delivery of high relevance recruitment services on behalf of our clients across the UK.
