Job Description

Heating / Gas ManagerLocation: - ideally youll be located within a commutable distance of Hull, North East Yorkshire with areas such as Scunthorpe, Brigg, Grimsby also considered.Company Background:Superb opportunity for an experienced Plumbing, Heating or Gas Manager to join a growing Engineering business who specialise across Mechanical, Electrical and HVAC sectors and with over 20 years experience in the industry.Job Role:

  • Our client will consider either a Supervisor or Manager for this position and as a company offer a range of boiler, mechanical plant, ventilation, plumbing, commercial gas and pipefitting services.
  • Youll be responsible for overseeing and managing a small team of engineers, supervising, managing, training and coordinating.
  • Dealing with mainly commercial contracts such as Retail, Care Homes, Supermarkets, Schools / Colleges etc.
  • Working mainly within an office environment, therefore 80-90% in office.
  • Also responsible for the odd bit of field based work, attending site visits and assisting on-tool if necessary, although very minimal.
Skills and Experience Required:
  • Experienced in all aspects of plumbing, heating and boiler installation and maintenance is essential.
  • Hands on previous background as a plumber, heating or gas engineer.
  • Ideally youll have experience of commercial plumbing and experience running/overseeing commercial contracts.
  • Youll need to hold relevant plumbing and heating certificates, including ideally domestic and commercial acs gas certificates.
  • Good level of computer literacy.
  • Self-motivated team member with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Salary and Package on offer:
  • £42k-£44k Basic Salary (depending on experience)
