Generator EngineerHull,East Riding of Yorkshire£30,000 per annumWe provide a full range of power generation solutions to meet the exact needs of our clients, working across a full range of industries in the UK and around the world.UK-built, outstanding quality, CE-approved diesel generators are what we specialise in. We install, supply, and service many types of diesel generators across the globe. With over 60 years combined experience we have quite a tale to tell.The RoleGenerator Service EngineerReporting to the Service Manager, the Generator Technician will provide maintenance, installation, diagnosis, repair, and testing services across a range of diesel generator sets and associated equipment. Our support is carried out at clients premises or atour head office based in Hull.Key tasks include:*Carrying out PPM, diagnostic, testing, and remedial works on Diesel/Bio-DieselGenerators.*Carrying out client site visits and generating accurate and timely reports.*Projecting spares requirements for upcoming and planned works.*Customer liaison, ensuring complete customer satisfaction at all times.*Supporting operational tasks i.e. reporting, quotations, progress reports, customerenquiries etc.*Generator load testing and fuel polishing.*Installation and setup of generator remote monitoring systems.*Fault diagnostic using thermal imaging cameras.*Generator commission and installationSkills / Personal Skills / Qualifications:*A background within Diesel Engines/Generators.*Good working knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles.*Knowledge of electrical wiring regulations.*A responsible approach to health and safety.*Flexible approach to working hours.*Provide maintenance services in-line with the engineers call-out rota.*Happy with high mileage driving, occasionally working away from home andoccasional weekend work.*Holds a Safety passport/CSCS card.*Offshore tickets/qualifications are advantageous but not necessary as full trainingwill be given to the right candidate.*Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.*Full clean driving licence.*Already own basic electrical & mechanical tool kit.*Comfortable working in a driven well motivated team, of very focused people, withrobust working relationships.*High standards of cleanliness & personal presentation.*Possess a positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills.Monday - Friday8.00 - 17.30To be considered for the Generator Engineer role, please apply today.
