A leading consultancy is looking for a Electrical Engineers to join them based in either Liverpool, Hull, or South Tees.The role involves installing, fault finding and general servicing of equipment with a large part of the job often relating to interfacing so experience with NMEA and Ethernet / IP would be highly desired.The ideal candidate will have knowledge of bridge equipment such as Radios (VHF, MF/HF etc), GPS, Radar, Autopilot, Sat C, GYRO, Sat Compass, VSAT, TVRO, SART, EPIRB, Intercom, CCTV, VDR, ECDIS, Navtex, Anemometers, Echo Sounders, Fish finders and other electrical bridge equipment. The ability to apply basic principals to unfamiliar electrical equipment will be required.Travel is required with this role at short notice including overnight stays with an excellent package available for the right candidate.
