Job Description

Who are weWescot is part of the Cabot group and was incorporated in Scotland but following expansion now operates in Bolton, Glasgow, Hull, Malton, Saltcoats and Telford. We work with large well-known clients and due to recent growth and expansion are currently recruiting for Customer Consultants to join our very friendly team in Hull.As a Consultant you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service to our customers by asking questions, listening and setting up affordable and sustainable repayment plans.You do not need previous financialservices experience however, you should be a good communicator using both verbal and written skills and be a confident computer user with the ability to pick up new systems quickly. Once you reach competence levels you may be able to work in a blended situation both at home and in our office.This will help our clients continue to deliver vital services to our customers while supporting you in finding an appropriate work-life balance. We want our colleagues to have great customer service skills, be resilient, adaptable and to achieve the correct outcomes for our customers.As a Customer Consultant you will be responsible for:

  • Managing inbound and outbound phone calls (this is a 100% telephone-based role)
  • Establishing ourcustomers’ needs and affordability by gathering information
  • Negotiating payments and payment plans
  • Processingpayments
  • Managingcustomersexpectations
  • Support and direct our customers to relevant charities/support networks
  • Update customeraccounts with relevant notes and outcomes
  • What we need you to have:
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong listening, empathy and questioning skills
  • A good level of computer literacy with the ability to pick up new skills easily
  • Ability to self-motivate and work well as part of a team
  • A genuine drive to deliver excellence and work towards achievable KPI’s
  • Why work for us:We offer a competitive salary between £17,406 and £19,892 (dependent on contract between 35-40hrs whichyou can choose to suit your lifestyle). Your salary also increases when you pass your probation period. Your shifts arerostered between 8am & 9pm Monday to Friday, we also work one in three Saturdays between the hours of 8am & 4pm.
