As they continue to grow, we are seekinga talented CAD Designer to join their team and contribute to the success of the projects.If you have experience in CAD Design with a strong background in SolidWorks, HVAC systems, and a passion for or experience in steel fabrication wed love to hear from you. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in creating detailed and accurate designdrawings for HVAC and steel fabrication projects, ensuring that products meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.Key Responsibilities:· Utilise SolidWorks (AutoCAD, Revit, Autodesk Inventor etc) software to create 2D and 3D design models and drawings for HVAC systems and steel fabrication projects.· Apply your knowledge of HVAC principles and systems to develop designs that optimise energy efficiency, airflow, and temperature control.· Collaborate with fabrication team to design steel components, structures, and assemblies that align with project specifications and industry standards.· Prepare detailed design documentation, including bills of materials (BOMs), assembly instructions, and schematics.· Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, project managers, and production staff, to ensure seamless project execution.· Review and validate design drawings to ensure accuracy, compliance with regulations, and adherence to project requirements.· Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in HVAC and steel fabrication design and contribute to process improvements within the CAD department.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Proficiency in SolidWorks/ AutoCAD software and other relevant CAD software.Previous experience in HVAC system design and knowledge of HVAC codes and standards.Familiarity with steel fabrication processes and principles.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Self-motivated with a commitment to meeting project deadlines.Benefits:Mon - Fri 08:00 -16:30 and Friday 08:00 - 13:30Free onsite parking25 days holidays + bank holidaysChristmas shutdownProfessional development and training opportunitiesCollaborative and inclusive work environmentIf this sounds like the role for you then press apply now!
