Job Description

The Company:Brewster Partners Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant for a progressive organisation in the Kingston-upon-Hull area. The company has an excellent reputation and is within 10 minutes from both the M62 and M180, making it is easily accessible from the Scunthorpe and Grimsby areas.The Job:Reporting into the Finance Manager and working alongside a small team, responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the preparation of month end accounts
  • High levels of reconciliation work
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Submitting VAT returns
  • Data and variance analysis
  • Purchase ledger and credit control duties and
  • Assisting with the preparation of Year End accounts
    • The Person:The ideal candidate will have some all-round experience in a finance team and be looking to, if not already, studying for an accountancy qualification. A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, you will also need to be motivated and ready to undertake new challenges as the organisation grows.The Benefits:On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package with generous holiday leave.
