Job Description

Are you a skilled Production Engineer seeking a new opportunity to work with a reputable manufacturing company in Huddersfield We are currently working with a leading manufacturer, to find a talented CNC Machinist to join their team with experience in CADCAM.This is a one of a kind engineering company who are very unique in what they do…DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop 3 Axis CNC programs using CAD/CAM software for milling operations, optimizing machining processes.
  • Collaborate with design teams to interpret technical drawings and generate efficient toolpaths.
  • Program, set up, and occasionally operate CNC milling machines, ensuring high-precision production.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting to prevent downtime and ensure optimal machine performance.
  • Monitor and inspect machined parts to meet quality standards and design specifications.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives for CNC programming and machining processes.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of CNC programs, tooling setups, and machine parameters.
  • Train and mentor junior staff in CAD/CAM programming and CNC machining.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and contribute to the development of SOPs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project completion and meet quality standards.
