Job Description

SEO Focused Content Writer & Link Builder based in Huddersfield, £20-£25K depending on experience, 31 days holiday.Aura Print is a rapidly growing specialist digital printer based near Huddersfield town centre. We are a family-owned business employing 13 people and have a turnover in excess of £1M. New products and overseas markets are driving our growth and we needan experienced online marketing content writer with strong understandings of SEO and link building to aid our future growth plans.If you are a passionate SEO techie looking for an exciting new role where youll have the freedom to guide our online traffic strategy, we want to hear from you.This is a brilliant opportunity that will require a special kind of person, skillfully experienced in the art of keyword research, content writing and sourcing links with the aim to increase organic positions and traffic.Responsibilities of the role:

  • Generate content plans for selected keywords to either gain new traffic or increase existing positions.
  • Using software, perform outbound link building for our content and products.
  • Analyse, report on and improve organic rankings for selected products.
  • Edit existing content to favour the new content plan factoring in keyword cannibalisation.
  • Produce FAQs with the customer service team and create guides to help customers incorporating SEO practices.
  • Demonstrate and present new and innovative ideas to propel the business forward across multiple channels.
Person specification:
  • Excellent understanding of SEO and knowledge of Google Search Console/SEM Rush.
  • Knowledge of best link building practices.
  • Proven track record of improving traffic and positions.
  • Be able to demonstrate reporting on positions, traffic, engagement, ROI.
  • A high level of IT skills and experience in analysing data
  • Ability to be both creative and analytical in your work.
  • Be able to prioritise, plan and organise workloads whilst in a busy environment.
  • Good communication and inter personnel skills.
  • Team player.
  • Previous experience working within the print industry is very advantageous.
