Job Description

Elevation have the pleasure of working with an bespoke furniture manufacturing company based in the Huddersfield area, who are looking for a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team with immediate effect. Salary: £45,000 Location: Huddersfield Hours: Monday to Friday – 6am till 2pm or 7.30 till 4.15pm - afters shift needed in peak times between April and OctoberBenefits:

Duties of a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer:
  • Being proactive within the job focussing on reactive and preventative maintenance on a daily basis
  • Liaising with production team at all times
  • May be required to be on call occasionally depending on the needs of the business- in peak times is usually 1 in 4 weeks (between April and October)
  • Working within an automated manufacturing environment, on machines such as CNC Machines, sprayers, conveyors, saws, vacuum lifting machines, robotic saws, presses
  • General building maintenance as and when needed with CCTV cameras etc
  • Working on computerised systems on a daily basis
  • Fault finding on PLC’s such as Siemans, Alan bradley and Mitzubishi
  • Working on breakdowns, PPM’s and installations
Desired experience:
  • You must have at least Level 3 or above in Electrical Engineering (City and Guilds or NVQ based)
  • Ideally have 18th edition
  • Must be computer literate as IT skills will be used daily for different systems in place
  • Must have manufacturing background within engineering
  • Must have experience with reactive maintenance and PPM’s on a daily basis
  • Must have experience with fault finding/ inputs and outputs on PLC’s such as Alan Bradley, Siemans, Mitzubishi,
  • Ideally have experience working within an automated environment previously
  • Must be happy being on call occasionally if needed
  • Have some mechanical maintenance knowledge also
