Job Description

Mechanical Fitter Assembler - Large scale machinesHuddersfield

  • £17.95 per hour
  • Monday to Thursday
  • 7:30am to 5:00pm
  • 36 hours per week
Due to continued growth, an established and specialist engineering firm, who design, manufacture, install and maintain their equipment around the UK, are now keen to appoint an experienced mechanical fitting and assembly engineer.ESSENTIAL TO APPLYNVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in an engineering discipline.Understanding of engineering fabrication, welding and assembly of large scale machinery.Mechanical Fitting and assembly of large scale machines.Reading and working from engineering drawings where needed.Working to tight tolerances.Effective organisation of production to meet required schedules.Ensuring acceptable levels of workmanship are achieved.Ensure product is made correctly and to defined standards.DESIRABLE EXPEREINCE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL MIG & or TIG Welding.Qualified/time served in welding to BS EN ISO 9606-1-2017.Stainless and Mild Steel Fabrications (3-15mm).THE ROLEReporting to the Team Leader, your key duties will be:Assemble prefabricated parts of new build units.Fabrication and assembly of components.Assist the team in meeting the requirements of the department meeting delivery dates.Adhering to the health and safety protocols.Ensuring Customer Satisfaction.Report incidents/near misses/accidents to the team leaderEnsure adherence with all Legislation, Codes of Practice, Standards, Regulations, Company Rules and Procedures including Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental Management Systems.Please apply online and/or call Adam Dyson for further details..The Clever Fish Recruitment review all applications.
