Job Description

Principal Resourcing are seeking a flexible and engaging Maths Teacher for one of our partnership Alternative Provision School based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.The full-time role will provide ongoing teaching and learning support for KS3/KS4 SEMH pupils across the Maths curriculum from February 2024 onwards. You will be confident delivering engaging lessons to a diverse range of pupils, ensuringactive participation in lessons and positive interactions.The Specialist School caters for pupils with complex social, emotional and mental health needs within a therapeutic and nurturing provision. They recognise that learners are unique with different experiences and needs, therefore each student is offered anindividual pathway for learning that encourages them to progress and build confidence in their abilities.We welcome applications from ECT’s and experienced Teachers, you can expect to earn up to £230 per day depending on experience.Skills and attributes:

  • Relevant qualifications - QTS Teaching qualification (PGCE, SCITT, MEd, Cert. Ed etc.) or equivalent
  • A relevant BA/MA in related subject
  • Previous experience of delivering curriculum subject to SEMH pupils is desirable
  • A proactive team member, committed to raising standards and achievement
  • ECT’s are welcome to apply
  • You must have Right to Work in the UK, we are unable to provide Visa Sponsorship
