Job Description

Joining this successful business in Huddersfield as a Graduate Trainee, youll be selling innovative, high quality and cost-effective branded electrical products sourced from the worlds leading manufacturers (such as Philips, MK Electric, Schneider Electric,Hager and Thorn to name a few).With more than 100,000 customers nationwide, the business you will be joining is the UKs largest and most successful electrical wholesaler with annual sales of more than £1.7 billion. Any business that buys domestic, commercial or industrial electrical equipmentis a potential customer for this industry-leader who trade from over 380 locations across the UK. Their business is built on long-lasting relationships - they pride themselves on working closely with suppliers, providing excellent service to their customersand helping their employees to build successful careers.Role ResponsibilitiesAs a Graduate Sales & Business Management Trainee, you will:

  • Learn about key areas of the business, market and the companys product range which includes lighting, cabling, wiring accessories, control and automation, ventilation, water heating, emergency lighting and fire detection and security access control, toname a few.
  • Complete a programme of professional sales training that will equip you with all of the tools and skills needed to thrive in a successful sales career.
  • Build strong relationships with and deliver excellent customer service to new and existing B2B clients.
  • Manage current sales accounts, spot opportunities for growth and maximise profitability.
  • Progress to a field sales position where you will meet customers face-to-face and proactively win new business.
