Job Description

We are seeking a German-speaking Insurance Supervisor for an international insurance group based in Huddersfield. The successful candidate will have be able to speak German fluently, and ideally have some knowledge of insurance and/or worked in the financialservices industry.Client DetailsOur client is a well-established organisation within the insurance industry. They are a large enterprise with a workforce in the thousands, operating on a global scale. Based in Huddersfield, they are known for their commitment to quality and service.DescriptionAs the German-speaking Insurance Supervisor, you will:

  • Supervise the insurance team and oversee daily operations within the department
  • Handle insurance claims and liaising with insurance providers
  • Maintain and update the claims management database
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
  • Pursue their uninsured lost recovery team to ensure that costs are recovered in a timely manner and track costs to ensure that all recoverable items and expenditure are recovered
  • Deal with queries with the insurance company until the claim is closed
  • Implement risk management strategies and processes
  • Provide guidance and support to team members
  • Manage and resolving any insurance-related issues
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of insurance processes and procedures
ProfileThe successful Insurance Supervisor should have:
  • Fluent German speaker
  • Experience working in insurance ideally
  • Strong communication andinterpersonal skills and able to build strong working relationships
  • The ability to effectively manage and resolve issues
  • A track record of implementing successful risk management strategies
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
