Fibre Engineer (FTTP)Fibre Engineer - FTTP - West Yorkshire (Huddersfield) - to £34,000 plus bonusLeading Fibre installer who specialise in the design, installation, and connection of fibre optic services to domestic and commercial properties throughout the UK require Fibre Engineers with a service delivery / customer centric approach to Fibre To TheProperty (FTTP) to be responsible for the connection of domestic and commercial properties to Fibre networks. In this role you will be fully supported on a day-to-day basis by your team, the Build manager and Supervisor.As a Fibre Engineer you will hold a full clean driving licence, be above the age of 25, live in or around the Huddersfield area, and be willing to commute between Cheshire, York, and potentially Durham. There may also be some staying away as and when requiredby the business.You will be responsible for installing fibre connections to domestic and commercial properties with a service delivery approach, test systems and find and fix any faults, installing underground and overhead fibre optic cabling, splicing, installing, andmaintaining the fibre network, working with the FTTP Co-ordinator confirming the scope of the work and materials required to ensure appointments are delivered on time, safely, and to the highest standards and conduct site surveys where requiredRequired qualifications include but not pre-requisite:-Handling rodding in the UG Network - K8 / Sub-Duct and Cable installation - S7 / Overhead Cable installation (beneficial) - S8 / Overhead Safety (beneficial) - SA001 / Underground Safety - SA002 / IPAF1B / NRSWA OperativeYou will be able to communicate effectively with team, colleagues, managers, and customers, show a willingness to pitch in to finish all tasks assigned and tasks that may be assigned to colleagues, manage performance and productivity.In return you will have a salary to £3,000 plus a performance related bonus, a tablet and mobile phone, uniform and PPE, ongoing training, 21 days holiday plus bank holidays, company pension plan and additional benefits!This role can be based in the following locations:- Huddersfield, York, Halifax, Bradford, Leeds, Wakefield, Barnsley, Rochdale, Bury, Oldham, Manchester, Cheshire, West Yorkshire--- Fusion People are committed to promoting equal opportunities to people regardless of age, gender, religion, belief, race, sexuality or disability.
