Field Service EngineerDepartment: AftermarketDuration: PermanentSalary: £25,000 - £40,000 dependant on experienceHours: 38.75 hours - Monday to Thursday 7:30AM to 4:00PM, Friday 7:30AM to 2:45PM.Stafflex are recruiting for an experienced Field Service Engineer on behalf of our client, to join their team. Our client is a leading worldwide supplier of containment, aseptic and mobile cleanroom systems for pharmaceutical, healthcare, biotech, and chemicalmarkets. With over 35 years experience in the design and manufacture of innovative high-quality solutions.Purpose of the role:Responsible for carrying out Client On-site servicing and testing of product range and ensuring compliance - assist in the generation of new sales.Key Relationship:The Field Service Engineer has daily contact with the Aftermarket Service co-ordinator, and the relevant personnel at the site they are visiting/working. Regular communication with HR, QHSE and other technical departments is also expected.Duties:

• Carry out annual on-site servicing of all relevant product range. Servicing to mainly consist of the following: -
• Airflow testing using velo-gids, pitot tubes, anemometer, manometers etc.
• Calibration of pressure and velocity devices Pressure transmitters and switches.
• DOP testing - HEPA filter integrity testing.
• Particle testing
• Electrical fault finding
• Maintain allocated test equipment, ensure calibration is current and certification is available for issue to clients.
• Work within the parameters of the company production schedule and within the customers shutdown periods.
• Carry out work activities in accordance with specifications and the companies test methods and procedures.
• Ensure that all sales prospects, enquiries, are professionally relayed back to the office for effective processing.
• Ensure correct execution of all Company documentation - Standard ETL Service sheets, IQ, OQs
• Submit status/service reports in a timely manner.
• Actively promote the after sales growth through new Spares, Service and Up-grade enquires.
• Participate in other areas of the business for example relocations and up-grade work.

General:

• Due to being a Client on-site role there is a large element of travelling and working away with this role mainly UK based but also a small amount overseas.
• The successful candidate needs to be able to work under their own discipline as well as report back to the larger team.
• Maintain a company van and ensure all legal requirements are maintained.
• Share expertise and keep up to date with developments in technology.
• Maintain an effective working relationship with all teams members within the business.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the business, its people, and processes.
• Participate in other duties as and when required.
• Comply with all policies and procedures within the company.
• Carry out all duties regarding and ensuring equal opportunity.
• Work with all employees within the company in the fulfilment of our aims.
• Ensure that you remain compliant with health and safety regulations and always accepted safe practice. Report any health and safety issues or contraventions witnessed anywhere within the business to your line manager.

Desirable Attributes:

• Experience working in an Engineering Environment
• HND/HNC Qualification
• Qualifications in Testing, DOP, Particle counting, Airflows.
