If this sounds like you, please read on to find out more about our .NET Senior Developer opportunity.You will be a high calibre Senior Software Engineer with a passion for digital web technologies and experience in the Microsoft .Net Core stack. This will be a challenging role, seeing you involved in the selection and implementation of new technologies and ensuring a quality customer experience across our SGBD brand websites. To achieve this, you will work as part of our core team to;

Build new, high quality, software applications in-line with changing business requirements.

Support existing applications with vision to optimise for maximum speed and scalability.

Collaborate with front-end developers and our QA team to improve usability and ensure applications are fit for purpose.

You will be working as part of a team that will deliver, a wide range of projects that will promote our business in a fast moving marketplace. The SGBD internal Development team are currently working on the projects listed below.

The SGBD Internal Development team will be working as part of the wider Digital Initiative team, working on key business projects that will allow our brands to compete in a fast moving e-commerce marketplace. I would be happy to provide more details of the projects you would be working on if required.What kind of person are we looking for First and foremost, we always want to recruit talented people that align well with our values and way of working. In addition to the five Saint-Gobain attitudes we shared at the start, well also need the following from you;

Hands on experience with C# and .Net Core

Proficient with Docker Containerisation on Azure Cloud

Proficient with MVC solution delivery in web based architecture

Proficient with services development such as WCF or Web API

Experience with an ORM framework such as Entity Framework or NHibernate

You may not have all of these, and you probably have something else not on here.
