Category Marketing ManagerLocation: Huddersfield, West YorkshireHybrid working: 3 days office / 2 days home basedContract Type: Full time, PermanentSalary: Up to £45,000 DOEAt Buy It Direct we are investing in our future, we’re looking to recruit a commercially savvy, entrepreneurial Category Marketing Manager. You will lead our demand generation activity and communication strategy taking it to new heights. If you have a passion and proven track record in commercial marketing, we want to hear from you. This is an opportunity to make a real impact in a dynamic and fast-paced ecommerce retail environment. What Youll Be Doing:

  • Collaborate with commercial stakeholders to create and execute a growth plan.
  • Develop and deliver B2B and B2C marketing strategies for customer acquisition, retention, and sales targets.
  • Track, monitor, and respond to sales, marketing, and commercial KPIs.
  • Generate customer-focused and commercially centred campaigns that set us apart in the market.
  • Support the commercial & sales team with valuable market insights for growth plans.
  • Devise compelling marketing campaigns that captivates and engages our customers.
  • Work with channel teams to execute marketing campaigns.
  • Build and maintain a campaign and events calendar aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with our website trading managers to create engaging on-site content and campaigns.
Utilise data to inform new campaigns and evaluate existing ones. Oversee the work of internal and external agencies, including designers, content creators, and printers. Take charge of organising trade shows and events. What You Need:
  • Proven track record in a highly commercial marketing role.
  • A passion for product marketing.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and delivering campaigns with measurable ROI.
  • Strong understanding of marketing and commercial KPIs.
  • Deep knowledge of integrated sales and marketing campaigns.
