Job Description

    A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Field-based Service Engineer or Technician to join a growing team within a £ multi-billion turnover speciality Chemicals and gases business.
      If you enjoy multiple challenges within a dynamic, constantly changing and fast-paced environment then this could be the challenge for you!
You will be based from home, covering a range of postcodes within the South & West Yorkshire areas.
  • The primary responsibility of the role is to carry out inspection, maintenance and installation activities medical and industrial gas supply systems (including cryogenics)
  • Predominantly work independently on maintenance activity (and the relatively rare breakdown) as well as part of the wider team.
It is essential in this role that you are comfortable working in a customer-facing role and can demonstrate a highly professional level of customer service as you will mainly be working on customer sites.This is a fantastic career opportunity for the right candidate with both progression opportunities and intensive training and development to get you fully up to speed with the technical demands of the job.
  • Time served craftsperson with appropriate C&G / NVQ level3 / ONC / HNC / HND qualification is desirable although relevant experience will also be taken into account.
  • At least 3 years practical experience in a similar contracting / maintenance type environment
  • Mechanical bias ideal together with some Electrical experience
  • A strong commitment and understanding of Health & Safety procedures and regulations.
  • A full UK driving licence is essential
