Job Description

Customer Service Advisor based in Barnsley S74Offering £10.42 per hour - paid weekly, every Friday (increasing to £11.49 after 12 weeks!)Full time, Temporary on-going contractStart Date: 17th July 2023We are currently recruiting for Customer Service Advisors to join our clients existing team based in Barnsley. This is an exciting opportunity to work on behalf of one of the biggest and well known delivery services in the UK with our 50 years in the industrythey are dedicated and focused on delivering the best service to their customers and clients and deliver in excess of 700 million parcels per year. This is an on-going temporary role working on site with 1 in 4 weeks working from home.What will you be doing

  • Handling inbound customer service queries from our diverse customer base and ensuring to provide 1st class customer service.
  • Ensuring to deliver a response in a timely manner either by email or call.
  • Conduct thorough investigation of all undelivered parcels to ensure compliance and full resolution to the end customer
  • Prioritise and clear the queue having contacted clients and customers to establish correct addresses / label / packaging issues
  • Giving clear and concise information to our customers with confidence and knowledge
  • Working inline with company standards and service level agreements
  • Using our inhouse systems to log calls, amendments and delivery changes
Who are we looking forWe are looking for people with exceptional customer service skills preferably from a call centre environment.
  • Previous customer service experience ideally within a call based environment
  • A passion for customer service with the want and desire to provide exceptional service to our customers
  • Strong communications skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to work in an efficient manner by managing and prioritising your workload effectively.
  • Strong competency of IT systems including Microsoft Office
The Location: Barnsley S74The Hours:You will be working on a 4 week shift basis which is as followed:
  • 8.00am - 16.30pm - Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday Sunday
  • 8.30am - 17.00pm - Monday, Wednesday Thursday, Friday, Saturday
  • 9.00am - 17.30pm - Monday to Friday (Work from Home)
  • 9.30am - 18.00pm - Monday to Friday
