MHC benefits also include; free DBS check, flu vaccination and Hepatitis B vaccination.Salary: Circa £36,500 per annum including enhancements for nights and weekendsAbout the role: We have a Staff Nurse Position available to work in a high performing Residential care home supported by a very experienced Nursing / MDT and Management team. Applicants must hold appropriate Nursing qualifications as the roles foundations are on individualised patient care. MHCs preceptorship package is a supportive structured process that allows newly qualified nurses to develop their skills with supervision and guidanceA key aspect of the role is supporting the patients journey and progression through the care pathway. Provide clinical leadership to both staff and residents. Act as a role model for the delivery of care and ensure that all staff are performing to required standards. Ensure effective and adequate individual assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident care and oversee the named nurse role for your identified residents.You will have the opportunity to develop your skills, share your experiences and really make a difference to the lives of those we support. It may be that you want a change, fresh start or just want to bring your skills to Meols Drive, where at the same time you can benefit from support and guidance from the senior nurses, MDT and senior management team. There will be an opportunity for you to access our bespoke training package and internal training.The ideal candidate for this post will have experience in mental health issues, possess experience in being a named nurse, writing care plans and risk management plans and for preceptorship nurses willing to undertake the preceptorship package offered at Meols Drive. Within this role you will need an understanding of recovery, patient centred care, team working, personal development, medication procedures, safeguarding policies and procedures, motivation skills, be self-motivated, flexible and organised.Skills: Able to communicate highly complex and sensitive informationAbout the Service: Meols drive is a residential nursing service for individuals living with a borderline to moderate learning disability. Care and rehabilitation is delivered with an active support, positive behavioural support and person centred approach to enhance opportunities for individuals to live as independently as possible.
