A vacancy has arisen for an Electrical Fitter to join their team based in Livingston. This isan ideal opportunity for a candidate who would like to continue their career within an exciting and progressive manufacturing facility.ResponsibilitiesAs part of a skilled team, this role involves working to both planned and reactive maintenance schedules within the plant, repairing and maintaining forging presses, furnaces, machine tools, plus electrical installations and PAT testing. The successful candidatewill join a team responsible for all elements of electrical plant maintenanceExperienceApplicants must be self-motivated and have the ability to manage a varied and demanding workload. You must have a proven track record of fault finding with the ability to read technical drawings. You must also be able to work at heights and in enclosed spaces,as well as having basic IT skills together with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Prior industry experience in electrical maintenance covering medium voltage distribution systems, equipment breakdowns, trouble shooting, and working with inspectionand maintenance programs to meet statutory requirements is essential.EducationTime served Electrical (Relevant apprenticeship (Must have trade papers)Required skills
