Parking Appeals Officer We a seeking a Appeals Officer with previous experience within the area of HounslowAssignment length 3 Month + (possible extension)Pay rate £17.19 PH PAYE or £22.39 PH UMB36 hours per weekStart date - ASAP We are looking for a Parking Appeal officer to deal with formal correspondence received in relation to Penalty Charge Notice representations and appeals. Your duties would include dealing with correspondence, appeals, telephone calls, refunds, complaints,court & bailiff. You would be working in a diverse, highly motivated and specialised team.Busy Appeals and Monitoring Team, responsible for investigating and responding to all representations, appeals and general correspondence received in relation to formal stage Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs).Ensure that cases are dealt with correctly and on time, to a high standard and in line with Hounslow policies, procedures and legislative responsibilities.Monitor, record, collate and report performance data as required, and support any special projects Key Responsibilities:* To investigate and decide PCN representations and appeals in a timely manner and in line with legal requirements, client policies and procedures.* To represent the client at adjudication and other external functions such as bench-marking and working groups.* To deal with ad hoc correspondence and other duties (including requesting refunds, responding to emails and occasional phone calls) in order to ensure the smooth running of the office.* To identify and report problems as and when they come up, as well as make the occasional suggestion for developing procedures to improve service delivery, customer focus and efficiency.Must be an excellent communicator with previous Parking Appeals experience of 6 months or more, you will have an eye for detail along with experience of working with computerised systems (we use Taranto).36 hours over a five-day week (Mon-Fri) minimum four hours on a Friday. After initial training (five days at Hounslow House) and subject to agreement with your line manager, you will be able to choose your own work hours between 7am-7pm Monday to Friday,working one day a week until 5pm on a rota to cover the phonesAdecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
