Over 2,000 staff had a promotion last year, that’s 25% of the workforce, so theopportunities really are there.What you will be doingYou will join an inclusive and supportive team that works well together to provide care to people with Learning Dualities and Autismconditions, usingyour knowledge and skills to help people along their recover pathway towards leading a valued and fulfilledlife.Your day-to-day will include ward rounds, analysing behaviours and adapting care accordingly with colleagues, updating patient records, and providing overall care and support, which may include assisting with personal hygiene.It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve because of your involvement, knowing that you’ve made someone’s life better.The Hours of work is 40 Hours par weeks and the shift pattern is 12.5 hours a day, 3-4 days a week including nights and weekends.Where you will be working:Location:13 Alexandra Gardens, Hounslow TW3 4HTYou will be working at 13 Alexandra Gardens, a learning disability and autism service which provides support for people who may be living with moderate learning disabilities with associated health needs, autism and behaviours.People may come to 13 Alexandra Gardensas part of their care pathway, either moving from their community placement or the family home because they require more structured care and support.You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to help deliver care to service users and supporting them to achieve personalised outcomes and develop constructive ways of communicating through new skills and behaviours.What you will get
