Operational Key Account Manager Aerospace Europe - Airfrieght London HeathrowPermanentAre you a Key Account Manager with strong Customer engagement and operational experience looking to join a global brand at an exciting transformational timeWe are recruiting for an Operational Key Account Manager to join our talented Airfreight team.This is a new role which will report into our Head of Airfreight UK & Ireland, this core role shall be an active interface between our operational teams, business units and commercial account management teams.This role will also work hand in hand with the customer and in line with the customer needs to ensure a focused steering of the business and realization of continuous improvement projects.The roleOperational excellence for key accounts - Ensure that customer expectations are exceeded and ensuring harmonized and sustainable service level (cross-c ountry / cross-regional)Operational - acting as an interface operational requirements with our IT team and supporting with solutions-driven process flowsDrive required developments in systems, resources and facilities. You also maintain daily contact with both our customers andinternal teams. Youll also maintain high levels of internal training and ensure all key documents are kept up-2-date and support project management for ongoing account specific projects.New business implementations - Drive new business implementations which include SOP creation, KPI definition and solution design, assist and liaise with customer onboarding team for new project implementation and /or re-engineeringData analytics: focusing on operational data analytics, youll address data quality issues to relevant internal functions and drive for data quality improvementDrive supply chain improvements - monitor and drive regional and / or global KPIs and ad-hoc customers activity reports proactively. Drive supply chain improvements by applying digital technology (from order management, dashboards, predictive analyticsto Aerospace dedicated solutions)Customer focus - Identify & manage joint value projects to ensure win-win situations for customers and DB Schenker. Youll also design & drive customer quarterly business reviews.Retention management & business growth - Liaise internally with different Products teams to drive performance improvements and initiate correct action.
