Job Description

We are looking to recruit a permanent member of staff to join an ever growing, forward thinking business that is looking for a motivated candidate with the hunger for progression.This is a day shift role Monday-Friday 8 hour shifts with a 30 minute unpaid break.Duties of the role;

  • Setting up machines to run the product in accordance to SOPs
  • Lifting raw ingredients into the machine (bags can be up to 25kg)
  • Following a strict mixing recipe
  • Making sure all quantities of raw ingredients are correct
  • Monitoring the process
  • Making sure the product is processed correctly and the finished product is satisfactory
  • Quality checking
  • Stopping the machine at various points in the process to perform necessary clean downs
  • Bagging the finished product so it is ready to be shipped to the packaging line
  • Performing machine clean downs at the end of the shift
  • Cleaning parts using a sonic bath technique (extensive training will be provided to the operator)
Essential/Preferred Experience:
  • Working in a fast paced production/manufacturing environment
  • Previous machine setting and running of machines in a manufacturing environment
  • Quality checking products
  • Experience of performing machine clean downs is advantageous
  • Used to working to targets
  • Happy to work in a solo environment as an individual running a machine
