We provide a wide range of services that enable us to provide quality financial advice and services to meet the requirements of our clients.An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technology Support Engineer to join our Technology team based in our Horsforth Head Office. The successful candidate will work collaboratively, bringing enthusiasm, professionalism and knowledge to the technology team. Ensuring high systems availability, maintaining compliance within the Tenet Group data security policies. Supporting and communicating with colleagues in the use of the IT infrastructure, applications and equipment in a secure and efficient way.What we’re looking for:

  • A professional, proactive self-starter with excellent hands on troubleshooting skills who is able to identify problems and then offer and deliver appropriate solutions.
  • An effective team player who can work effectively with others, as well as being self-motivated and able operate independently with enthusiasm, adaptability and with a willingness to learn.
  • Working closely with the Technology team leader, you will be an integral member of the technology team.
  • At least 2-3 years’ experience in a 1st/2nd Line support position
  • You will be capable of prioritising & categorising workload.
  • You will contribute technical information and develop the IT knowledge base, be willing to share with others.
  • Have the ability to pick up new systems and environments quickly.
  • Have excellent communication skills and able to engage with all stakeholders.
  • Be interested, aware and enthusiastic of new technologies.
  • Have a good eye for detail, maintaining auditable records and processes within the Technology team.
  • You will have the following skills:
  • You will possess the relevant IT Support experience and e working towards achieving qualifications such as Microsoft/Cisco certifications (MCSA,MCSE/CCNA,CCNP)
  • Experience of some or all of the following; ITIL Framework; Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery; IT Auditing.
  • You will have an understanding and experience of major IT systems spanning some or all of the following; Networking; Telephony; Operating Systems; Application Servers;Incident Management and Mobile Devices.
  • You will also have an awareness and experience of; Microsoft Windows Server 2012-2019; Windows 10 (Build 1709-2004); Office 2016-2019; Microsoft 365 and Azure; Active Directory; Group Policy; VMware (5.5-7.0); Microsoft SQL Server 2012-2019; Microsoft Exchange (on-prem and online) and networking components (TCP/IP, VPNs, LANs, WANs, VLANs, DNS/WINDS and DHCP)
  • Experience administering backup solutions both on-prem and online such as Veritas NetBackup, Veeam & Rubrik.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint, MS Visio and Project are desirable.
  • You will have a Full UK Manual Driving License
  • Be comfortable working remotely for the short-medium term
  • Occasional travel to other UK offices on a rota basis.
