Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Managed ServicesLocation: Leeds, West YorkshireSalary: £45,000 - £50,000 + 30 Days Holiday (Rising with Service), Flexible Working, Private Healthcare, Company Pool Cars, Huge Training Budget (Certifications and Qualifications), Retail DiscountsWe are looking for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a leading Managed Service Provide in Leeds, West Yorkshire follwing an extended period of serious growth!The successful candidate will be required to provide 3rd line technical support to a wide range of customers. You will be required to lead and manage projects from design to implementation.Key Responsibilities:- Proactively investigate customer environments, evaluating and deploying new technologies and solutions as necessary- Installation, configuration and management of hardware, software and related systems- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems - Manage and maintain customer networks - Create and maintain customer documentation- Manage and implement customer projects - Assist with the development of customer best practices - Provide technical guidance and training to staff - Ensure customer SLAs are met Technical Skills Required:- A strong background in IT service, support and project delivery within MSP environments working to the ITIL framework.- Proven experience in providing 3rd line technical support - Excellent knowledge of Windows platforms, including server OS and O365 - Experience in virtualisation technologies, including Hyper-V and VMware- Knowledge of networking principles, such as switching, routing, firewall technologies- Experience with Storage Area Networks (SANs) - Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills - Good knowledge of scripting and automation technologies- Excellent communication and customer service skills If you are interested in this exciting and challenging role, and have the required skills and experience, apply now for immediate consideration and to receive further details about the role.
