Job Description

If you can demonstrate experience of bank reconciliations and credit control, then you could be exactly who we are looking for!We have a fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Assistant based in Horsforth, working for our Group of Companies. You will be enthusiastic, well organised, diligent, and able to work to deadlines whilst paying attention to detail and working both as an individual and as part of a small team.This is a new role and will evolve over time as the group expands, experience within the construction/building sectors will be held in high regard, as will a can-do attitude and efficient work manner.Responsibilities

  • Daily reconciliation of all bank accounts in Xero
  • Daily matching of Sales Invoices liaise with Admin where required
  • Posting Purchase Invoices and ensuring VAT receipt/Invoice is attached
  • Raising internal re-charge invoices monthly
  • Credit Control (following Group CC Procedure)
  • Ensure all invoices are on systems no later than 5th of following month
  • Assisting with VAT returns
  • Assist with Bank reconciliation and cashflow weekly and monthly
  • Other general duties

  • 21 days holiday, increasing to 25 days with service, PLUS bank holidays in addition.
