Job Description

Registered Manager£45,000 - £50,000 + £6,200 car allowanceHornseaBrook Street Social Care are now recruiting a Registered Manager for our clients 68-bed residential home/care village situated in the seaside town of Hornsea.The service specialises in providing 24-hour care for adults with mental health needs. This may include any of the following diagnoses: depression, dementia, schizophrenia, eating disorders and personality disorders.Responsibilities

  • Report to the Area Manager and be primarily responsible for the health, safety and well-being of up to 45 residents
  • Attend assessments and prepare appropriate care support packages
  • Youll be the main point of contact for all CQC Visits, Local Authority Audits, and other regulatory inspections
  • Day to day operation of the care home, ensuring all daily records and personal files are kept up to date
  • Ensure the staff ratios remains safe and in line with the needs of the resident group
  • Ensure our person-centred approach to care can be evidenced with a clear focus on outcomes
  • Positively contributing to the development of an efficient care team
  • Holding regular health and safety meetings with staff
Requirements
  • You will have a background in the social care sector
  • Hold a Level 5 in Leadership and care or equivalent (or willing to work towards this)
  • Driver with access to your own vehicle
  • Have a good knowledge of CQC and all their procedures
  • Full driving licence with access to your own vehicle
  • Relevant experience of managing a residential care home for adults with dementia and behaviours that can challenge/mental health difficulties
