Job Description

I am working with a specialist healthcare provider, who are looking for a deputy home manager to join one of their homes within the Hornsea area on a permanent basis.The care home in question focuses on patients with mental health related illnesses, so experience within dementia / mental health services is desirable, along with a minimum of a level 3 diploma in Health & Social Care.This role will involve but will not be limited to:

  • Manage the day to day delivery of a high quality, evidence-based person centred, holistic care incorporating meaningful activities for people living with mental health conditions.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of best practice and developments.
  • Oversee staffing levels to ensure that appropriate levels of staff are maintained, taking appropriate action in the event of any gaps in service.
  • Maintain up to date and accurate records in compliance with Information Governance.
  • Practice within the guidance and legal framework of CQC Regulations and the Essential standards of Quality and Safety, Infection Control, Medication and Confidentiality, and National Medical Council’s standards and guidance.
  • Ensure Information Governance and confidentiality is adhered to at all times
The role is Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm, with a starting salary between £26,000 - £29,000 depending upon experience, along with the following benefits:
