We specialise in supporting people with different needs such as physical disability, autism, dementia and other mentalhealth conditions.Working between SpringHouse and Stuart HouseResidential Care Home / you will be working at our24-hour Residential Care Homesbased in Hornseain East Riding of Yorkshire, where we specialise in Mental Health and pride ourselves in offering an excellentstandard of care from professionally dedicated staff.An amazing opportunity has arisen for a Team Leaderto join our happy and professional team. Rewards of working with us are:

  • Daily management and monitoring of Resident of The Day completing this each day and supporting staff where needed to a good standard
  • Care Plan - Reviewing of and completion ofrisk assessments forall residents, ensuring care plans are up to date and appropiate.
  • Daily walk around of residents bedrooms, residents and the general health and safety of the home. Ensuring bedrooms are clean and residents are dressed and groomed to their preferance.
  • Supervison of care staff and senior care staff consisting of, live supervisions, appraisals, inductions and mentoring of new staff members. Completing induction packs and ensuring a good induction is adhered to.
  • Responsible of medications, completing regular medication competencies as per company policy. Monthly medication change over, ordering of medication and ensuring sufficient stock throughout the month. Completion of one medication round daily.
  • Weekly CD and homely remedy stock check - supporting senior staff throughout this.
  • Overall responsibility for referals such as, dietician, bladder and bowel, physiotherapy, SALT, mental health team - recognising when residents require such input and a referal being implemented within a timely manner and this being care planned.
  • Infection control and covid 19 precaussions responsibility. Monitoring the daily LFT and temperature sheets as per the rota ensuring this is completed alongside the government guidance. Cleaning schedules monitored and ensuring good practice throughout,resident monthly testing and clear documentation of this.
  • Take part in the On - Call Rota
  • To assist the daily running of the shifts and being the senior in charge when required along with being involved with the residents day to day needs.
  • Overseeing and taking part with the rota, ensuring the home is kept safe at all times
  • Registering all new residents with local GP
  • Registering residents with other professionals if neccessary
  • Register residents with living pharmacy and ensure residents medications are in sync with meds re-stock
  • Register residents with our dentist and optician.
