Job Description

Fundraising Manager - Trust and Liveries Based in Alton£30,000 to £35,000 p.a. plus 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays, Pension scheme, life insurance and critical illness cover, Occupational Health Scheme, Perkbox discount scheme, free well being activities and gymHours: 36.5 per week (9am to 5pm or flexitime)My client is looking for an experienced Fundraiser to join their team as a Liveries/Fundraising Manager, responsible for managing relationships with the City of London Liveries Companies and the Lord Mayor, as well as a set portfolio of Grant Making Trusts.Your responsibilities:

  • Developing plans and strategies for fundraising initiatives and activities, being the main point of contact and leading on applications, proposals and visits in order to maximise income
  • Maintain a pipeline of prospects with a personal portfolio of existing Trust & Livery donors
  • Implement and manage the Livery Companies development plan, in order to deliver the annual Lord Mayors visit
  • Support the Head of Trusts, Corporates and Liveries and Directors with the research and preparation of major funding bids
  • Develop and maintain a databank of funding resources
  • You will have the following skills:
  • Degree educated ideally
  • Previous experience of working within a fundraising environment, including experience of raising funds from Grant Making Trusts.
  • Demonstrable track record of personally asking for and securing charitable donations
  • Proposal/report writing experience
  • Experience of monitoring and working to a budget
  • Experience of using Raisers Edge
