Elevation Recruitment Group are working in partnership with a niche manufacturing business based near Holmfirth to recruit a brand new role as a Company Buyer.The business is a £14m t/o operation, you will have responsibility for a spend portfolio of c£6/7m across indirect services including but not limited to: Fleet, 3PL Warehousing, Engineering Maintenance, Site Consumables, Engineering Consumables and some rawmaterials. The business is part of a larger group so Core Raw Materials managed centrally.As a Buyer, you will support the sourcing activities, ensuring supply strategies support stakeholders needs and underpin wider business objectives. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders across the organisation, leading procurement projects and contractrenewals for varied spends.As a brand new role, we are looking for a commercial thinker who is engaging and able to build effective working relationships, both internally and externally. Will own the contract database, establishing a framework and process that works to deliver key outcomesfor services and goods.Your role is responsible for the renewal, development and implementation of new contracts and negotiating the commercial needs of the business. You must be self-motivated and work proactively to understand the internal and external influences that drive innovation,cost and availability of a variety of product and service categories.Role responsibilities include:* Issuing and managing Tenders and RFQs* Rigorous analysis of supplier offers and recommending options aligned to business requirements* Agreeing pre-purchase requirements including service requirements, lead-times, payment terms with stakeholders* Agreeing and finalising terms and conditions of supply* Ensuring indirect supply base is aligned to business core values and requirements* Reviewing suppliers capability - ensuring it meets the growth agenda* Development of ongoing sourcing strategies for agreement with Procurement Manager and senior management* Making recommendations to stakeholders regarding sourcing options which is supported by commercial analysis* Supplier identification and Commercial negotiations with supply baseKnowledge & Experience required:* Previous Indirect or Direct purchasing experience is essential* Strong commercial contracts understanding* Strong Excel skills* Robust analytical skills* Strong Project Management experience* Ability to engage and communicate effectivelyWhats on Offer: * £30,000 - £35,000 * Pension* Holiday West YorkshireHolmfirthCompany BuyerElevation Recruitment Groups Procurement and Supply Chain division work with a vast range of businesses across Yorkshire and Humberside, Lincolnshire and East Midlands regions.
