Job Title: Year 1/2 TeacherLocation: Hoddesdon, HertfordshireContract Type: Full-time, Long Term (Until July)School Type: Primary, Two Form EntrySalary: Paid to scaleStart Date: ASAPAre you a passionate and dedicated educator looking for a rewarding opportunity in teaching We are currently seeking a Year 1/2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire. This is a long-term role until July, providing you withthe chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young learners.About the Role:This school is part of a supportive Multi-Academy Trust committed to providing high-quality education and fostering a positive learning environment for both students and staff. With a focus on collaboration and professional development.As a Year 1/2 Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons to support the academic and social development of our students. Working within a collaborative team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to curriculumplanning, assessment, and the overall well-being of our pupils.Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative and stimulating lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing targeted support where necessary.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes a love for learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and stakeholders, providing regular updates on student progress and achievements.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with Key Stage 1 students is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and collaboration.
  • An up to date enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) or the willingness to get one.
  • A minimum of two professional references.
