Key responsibilities In this Family Support Worker job, your responsibilities will include:

Develop and maintain effective partnership working with young carers, their parents and other agencies with a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and working to assess, provide or co-ordinate support to youngcarers experiencing complex and multiple issues
Facilitate and deliver support and interventions which improve the young carers personal, social and educational development
Promote equality and the interests and welfare of young carers, achieving improved outcomes for the young carers and their families
Maintain competent and ethical practice in the provision of the young carers service, supporting families experiencing complex and multiple issues

Skills & experience of Family Support Worker

Worked In a similar role previously - preferably family support worker / social worker
Car diver Is required for this role - will be covering whole of Birmingham area
DBS Issued within the last 12 months or on the update service - child and adult cleared
Available Immediately to January
