Job Description

Learning Curve Group are one of the UKs most diverse training providers working with learners across the country. We are looking for a Sport and Fitness IQA to work on an associate basis. Associate are self employed and work on behalf of LCG to help us transform lives through learning.As an associate Internal Quality Assurer you will be required to support the assurance and enhancement of our Sport and Fitness qualifications. You will also be responisble for the following:

To complete interim sampling where learners have been on programme for 50% of their time (courses over 22 weeks)

Summative sampling on completion of portfolios

Support delivery staff to improve their practice; whether this by telephone, video call or face to face

Maintain sampling plans

Update Quality Manager on a montly basis with regards to development, themes and changes to RAG rating

Attend and partake in standardisation activities; whether this be remote or face to face. Once every six months or when required.

5 working day turnaround to feedback to delivery staff after sample activity

You will need to be Active IQ approved to internal quality assure the followingLevel 3 Diploma in Gym Instructing and Personal Training (603/2693/1)Level 3 Diploma In Fitness Instructing and Personal Training (600/4941/8)Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing L3 Diploma in Sport Massage TherapyL3 Diploma in Exercise ReferralL3 Diploma in Instructing Pilates MatworkYou will also need the following:

Detailed and practical understanding of teaching, learning and assessment for learning

Relevant teaching and/or assessor qualification

Relevant Internal Quality Assurer Qualification or working towards

Level 2 numeracy and literacy (or GCE/GCSE equivalent)

A management qualification

ICT qualification, for example ECDL. CGLI level 2 ITQ

Detailed knowledge of Internal Quality Assurance
