Job Description

Job Title: Operations, Training & Health and Safety CoordinatorLocation: New MillsContract Type: Permanent, Full-TimeIndustry: ManufacturingSalary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annumJob Overview:We are currently recruiting for an experienced Optimisation and Training Coordinator to join a leading manufacturing company based in New Mills. This is a key role focused on enhancing operational efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives andensuring the workforce is equipped with the necessary skills.Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement optimisation strategies to enhance manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct training needs assessments and design training programs to address skill gaps.
  • Coordinate and deliver training sessions for employees at various levels.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify areas for process improvement.
  • Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the impact of optimisation efforts.
  • Cost conscious decision making.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and technological advancements.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the manufacturing sector.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • LEAN Manufacturing understanding.
  • IPAF License (or working towards).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to design and deliver effective training programs.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
