Job Title: Operations, Training & Health and Safety CoordinatorLocation: New MillsContract Type: Permanent, Full-TimeIndustry: ManufacturingSalary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annumJob Overview:We are currently recruiting for an experienced Optimisation and Training Coordinator to join a leading manufacturing company based in New Mills. This is a key role focused on enhancing operational efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives andensuring the workforce is equipped with the necessary skills.Responsibilities:

Develop and implement optimisation strategies to enhance manufacturing processes.
Conduct training needs assessments and design training programs to address skill gaps.
Coordinate and deliver training sessions for employees at various levels.
Collaborate with department heads to identify areas for process improvement.
Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the impact of optimisation efforts.
Cost conscious decision making.
Stay abreast of industry best practices and technological advancements.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a similar role within the manufacturing sector.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement methodologies.
LEAN Manufacturing understanding.
IPAF License (or working towards).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to design and deliver effective training programs.
Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
