Job Description

A leading manufacturer of plastic parts and products is going through an exciting period of growth and expanding their operations. As a result, they require an Injection Moulding Technician to join their team.This role will be responsible, as apart of a team, for ensuring production flows efficiently whilst quality levels are maintained.****£37,500 Panama shift*****As Injection Moulding Technician, your duties will include -

Setting and operating plastic injection moulding machines and working with robots (6 axis, swing arm and cartesian)
Carrying out tool changes
Troubleshooting moulding issues
Improving cycle times and reducing scrap

To be successful in the role of Injection Moulding Technician, the ideal candidate will -

Have experience of working in a plastic injection moulding environment as a Setter or Technician.
Be able to change mould tools and set parameters.
Have a good understanding of moulding / process issues and know how to resolve them.
Have some experience of new tooling and optimisation of processes.
