Job Description

HGV Class 2 Drivers - Newcastle - Immediate Start24-7 Recruitment Services acting as an Employment Business are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 drivers on behalf of our client, based out of Newcastle Racecourse.About you:Successful candidates will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. There are varying shifts to suit. A keen interest in horse racing would be useful.Duties of HGV Class 2 Driver:Roles are ongoing with opportunities for long term assignments. There are also opportunities for temp to perm positions.

Responsible for driving clients C2 tender and/or scanner from Newcastle base to racecourses
Assisting crew with unloading/loading of equipment
Assisting crew with rigging/de-rigging of camera equipment (no requirement to operate equipment)
Assisting crew with carrying of equipment to specific operating locations
Remain with trucks in between racing

Shift and Pay Information for HGV Class 2 Driver:Start time varies depending on whether race meet is afternoon or evening. This would all depend on which race meeting you were attending for the day.
