Job Description

Reed Logistics Specialised recruitment are delighted to be working with a National Logistics company to recruit for the role of Logistics and Customer Service Operator.This is a great role for those people who have experience in both Logistics and Customer Service.A very forward thinking, well run company, who look after their staff very well.

  • County Durham / Sunderland
  • £21,000 - £25,000
  • Office based
  • 37.5 hours per week
The role:-
  • Assisting the Customer service team leader
  • Work closely with our customers to ensure the smooth running of the operation as a whole.
  • De-briefing drivers.
  • Provide regular reports on customer related and other relevant matters.
  • Answering all queries via email, phone and face to face.
  • Assisting in production of KPIs.
  • Promoting and maintaining positive relationships with colleagues.
  • Manage route bookings.
  • Adhoc Administrative tasks.
The person:-
  • Communication skills
  • Geographical knowledge of the UK.
  • Excellent organisational skills and prioritising workload.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Working to deadlines.
  • Solution driven and Flexible approach to your work.
  • Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
  • MS packages to include, Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook.
